Casa dos Amigos

Aptly named, this three-bedroom villa is excellent for groups of friends who want to hang out in Castelo. Casa Dos Amigos is only a ten-minute walk from a quiet, Portuguese beach and only five minutes to a selection of authentic restaurants.  

Enter under traditional archways and Casa Dos Amigos is a whitewashed haven under the sun. We loved the turquoise swimming pool, fringed by sun loungers and easy chairs. Al fresco dining is a must here, with an outdoor dining table, shaded under a large parasol. The open grill is perfect for serving up seafood delights. 

The villa interior is flawless, with a cool, contemporary living space, glossy kitchen and plush, hotel style bathrooms. The upper floor has a relaxing patio with coffee table and chairs, the perfect place to watch the sunset over a few thirst quenching cocktails. 

Castelo beach has a relaxed, authentic vibe. Amble from your villa to the beach, enjoy some of Portugal’s traditional cuisine with a friendly welcome and back to the sea for a sublime sunset. Nearby dolphin spotting tours make for a great day out and if you love seeing marine life, Albufeira’s Zoomarine Algarve is worth a visit too.
